I was replacing a base model Epiphone P90 on a guitar with a single pickup. Was just trying to see if I could get the guitar to sound like the JJN Les Paul. When I first hooked it up, I didn't hear much difference. But, after playing with the tone and volume control, the beast was released. Sounds fantastic. You do have to watch out for where you pick the strings, because the tone varies widely as you get closer or farther away from the single pickup. All in all, very satisfied.
