I got these to replace a faulty set of Fishman Fluence Moderns in a RGD61ALA tuned to drop A#. The logo reminds me of the EMTY models. They sound very similar to the Blackout series and I would say they're better than Fishman Moderns. Installation wasn't too bad either. The palm mutes are very powerful when chugging. I would hope in the future guitar companies would install these since these pretty much killed the Moderns, in my opinion. I would definitely buy more sets in the future.
Sound
If you like chugging, I would highly recommend getting a set of these. The bass response is very punchy. Very fluid notes when riffing around.
Features
The quick connect system is a life saver. If you don't know how to solder or afraid to mess something up when soldering, use a EMG solderless kit.
Ease of Use
They sound similar to the Blackouts. These are made for drop tuned tunings and are paired well with baritone guitars. I have mine in a 26.5 scale.
