My second guitar with Black Winters. I have an M-HT Black Metal with a single Black Winter humbucker. I liked it so much I had to get a set for another guitar. They're very punchy and have a nice low end. Every high note is crystal clear. The rails look so cool and aggressive in my guitar. Reminds me of the Dimebucker. I'd definitely get another set again.
Sound
They're designed for extreme metal and black metal but they're also very versatile. I play a blend of metalcore and deathcore and they sound awesome for my play style. I have my guitar set to drop A# and I couldn't be happier with the sound. These are very good pickups.
Ease of Use
I've used Blackouts, alt. Metal, and now Black Winter. Seymour Duncan is one one of my favorite pickup brands.
