"Sennheiser HD 650 Audiophile Headphones WOW!!"

I have several headphones including Sennheisers. I decided to treat myself and picked up a set of HD 650s from zZounds. After they arrived with free 2-day shipping, I plugged them in, threw on some live Volbeat and I was completely blown away!!!! The sound is beautiful, it sounds just like you are sitting dead center in the front row. Voice, guitars, bass, and drums are separated and sound perfectly crisp. Highs, mids, and bass all sound perfect with absolute zero distortion. Bass is so punchy and real, not faked which makes the boogie factor of a song make your butt do a little dance. You can't help it. There are no cons and well worth the money. Plus zZounds lets you make payments! You can't go wrong.
Musical Background:
Zero music ability, just absolutely love music

"Awesome headphones................"

I own a number of headphones, whether they be IEM, closed, open or semi...........seems to be a fetish of mine. Always striving for a better sound. Each set suppling a different venue. These are outstanding for classical, jazz and acoustic. They do need time to burn in, and are best paired powered by a decent HPA. Everybody's hearing is different so you have to be your own judge. Reading reviews will guide you, but you are the one who makes the call. These phones put you there but not in the front row like a good set of Grado's. I'm grad I made the purchase, and would recommend them.............good sound comes at a price.
Musical Background:
Play for my own enjoyment..........acoustic 6 & 12 plus keyboard. Also own a harmonica.
Musical Style:
Everything..........but rap & heavy metal. Sorry everybody has there own taste.

Sennheiser HD 650. My first pair of this brand heaphones, i am so amazed at the sound and clarity they produce. Perfect highs and lows, not fake sounding as some headphones do, Bass is more real sounding, not booming, the highs are crisp almost like right there with music. Even tried these with Movies and is also awesome, brings you right into the movie, hear every little detail and sound. Very happy with them, great purchase, highly recommend them for Music, movies and even games. Mostly rated for music
Musical Style:
Rock and roll, blues, bit of progressive jazz

"One of the best audiophile headphones ever created"

Comfortable, great sounding headphone. It delivers an excellent well balanced "dynamic" sound. One of the very few headphones that attempts to offer the sound of speakers, yet in a headphone(s) design., and it does an exceptional job.The HD650 does not sound like "Planers", but instead it sounds like good speakers in a room.......Has a very nice "analog" type sound presentation with nice mids, excellent bass extension, and articulate but never sibilant trebles. The soundstage presented is wide and deep.Plays well with all genres of music, and is a very good tool for the studio producer who wants to have an accurate headphone to use for mixing and mastering.
