I purchased this microphone a few weeks ago and like every new piece of gear.... I put it to the test on day one. The difference in sound quality (in comparison to my Telefunken M-80) was astonishing while recording. The built in EQ settings inside of the receiver are incredibly useful tools for creating a great tone in any sound situation. The mic also has a strong resistance to feedback during live situations which is something everyone can appreciate. I love the ease of use. You simply turn on both the mic and the receiver, click pair on each device... and done! No more cables running from one end of the stage to the other, just a great mic at an affordable price. Thank you Sennheiser.
