I have tried a few Sennheiser wireless systems and this is my favorite and for my purposes the most flexible for use on Flamenco Guitar. I primarily use this system with a DPA 4099g mic with a YPA micro dot Sennheiser adapter. The sound is incredible and of course Tony is what’s most important. Ease-of-use very easy plug in the batteries turn it on and it’s ready to go while some might complain that there is no AC power supply for me debility have a receiver that uses batteries to use on location where there is no power such as a battery powered amp is a plus . This system allows for completely uncluttered guitar performance I can clip on my microphone and transmitter and then put the receiver wherever the sound system XLR input is our use Bose L1s & Compás systems, QSC, Behringer, and others. For me this system is a keeper. I first tried the XSE2 system there was too much total degradation and noise . Then the ewD1 The sound quality was very good but there were too many dropouts . The ew112-p G3 even with one antenna is a dual diversity receiver uses one of the wires that goes to the output as an additional antenna. The HDX compander offers crystal clear sound. Both the transmitter and receiver are in a sturdy metal housing.
