"E945 is the best mic in its class, bar none!!!"

Our worship team decided to finally enter the 21st century and go wireless. We were using wired sm58’s that for us were a bit muddy and lacked clarity so in switching to wireless we also wanted to upgrade capsules. The Shure QLX-D were out of our price range so we looked to the new Sennheiser g4 line that had highly favorable reviews. The e945 capsules are nothing short of amazing; they capture every little detail and nuance in our singer’s voices. Vocals will cut through any mix and are very smooth, no harshness. Frequency response is excellent across the entire vocal range. Best mic for live vocals in its price range, no comparison. Love that the handhelds are metal for greater feel and durability. Will definitely buy more!

"Sennheiser e945 Wireless Microphone Sys."

I use this microphone in “live” applications and it sounds AWESOME! I have an okd Sennheiser MD 518 microphone and it still sounds great. However, this e945 sounds amazing and there’s very little mixing I need to do for it. It is really Plug-N-Play! I plan to buy more for the Back Ground and “Guest” vocalists who perform with me occasionally.

"Car show and weddings reception mobile dj very disapointed"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Have owned this model Snnheiser for 4 years and done 40 gigs from car shows to weddings in my mobile dj svc. I'm 71 and have used many mics. This model is DIFFICULT to use with the "mute" and big X and many other complicated features not easily understood or explained unless you're a techno geek. The range is superb 300 to 400 feet but the ridiculous "call your local tv station to be sure you're not interfering with them" got a LAUGH from my local ABC station when i told them the company recommende doing this. Who needs hundreds of channels? I've used the ultra cheap GEM Mics from Guitar Center in Flint Mi (where i bought this Sennheiser for $500 in 2012) and they sound just as good. And WEIRD feature--when i plug this mic into my mixer i sometimes get a GODAWFUL loud buzz that i DON'T get with cheaper wireless! This mic is also heavy with poor "hand feel". NOT a mic i'd recommend for a mobile dj--overbuilt where it's not necessary. Plusses: superb ultra clear sound definition. It's maybe twice the mic of a Gem brand but not 5 times the mic and to me this baby is OVERPRICED anywhere. Also: EATS batteries quickly.
