I've had to use other mics in different situations, and always wish i had another sennheiser to use. By far my favorite, of course i'd buy another if mine were stolen or broken...I want to buy more now.
Sound
works great on drum kits and alt. percussion. Even does a great job of capturing the wide range of djembe sounds (down to the low end). Captures the dynamics and expressions well, very transparent for a dynamic mic. My favorite mic for all types of percussion.
Features
I don't like included clip much. I use goosenecks to get the mic placed right, mounted either to a drum stand bracket or to a mic stand.

Never had problems with any Sennheiser product
