This is a beautifully balanced mic for the money. It's super clear and very quiet. Not much EQing needed on my wifes vocals. I haven't had the chance yet to try it on my acoustic guitar but I'm pretty sure it would be great for that as well.

The sE 2200 was recommended in an article I read about setting up a nice home studio without breaking the bank. I am glad I added this mic to my living room studio. It has much better response than my workhorse SM-58 or -57, and a much warmer sound. Every studio needs a condenser mic, and this is a great one!
