For the price it's a great value . Amazing sound. Perfectly set right out of the box , ready to play. If someone is a song writer that wants to play along while singing this is your guitar. It is very easy on your fingers so more focus on singing.

I've owned two S6's over the last 12 years or so. The black is a nice touch, as are the built in electronics. This is a guitar that punches above it's price range. Nice warm sound, good tuning stability. The action was a tad high from the factory, but nothing drastic that can't be fixed. If you're looking for a great guitar in the sub-1000 price range this is a solid pick.

Have Martins and Taylors and Gibsons and Eastmans....but got to say, The Seagull Black top is really sweet. You need to chuck the stock strings and put on some better quality brand name strings. Has a comfortable neck. Mine plays great with 11-52. Easy to finger pick and still great sound and volume. Its really a good looking guitar too. Pretty sharp looking.
