I am a Charvel guy through and through. I was looking for a nice single coil S type because I was working on alot of strat heavey songs. Long story short ; being a recent purchaser of the Schecter Sun valley shredder and falling in love with that guitar , I looked to see what they had to offer. The options this guitar had ( especially the flatter neck radius and the hot single coil pups) i chose thos over the stratocaster that was priced a few hundred more and had 9 inch radius that I wasn't crazy about. The first thing , the guitar is gorgeous, built extremely well , weighs a f*^&ing ton . It sounds so good. I love it. The cheapest guitar i own but, possibly the most versatile. This guitar is very hard to put down , very inspiring. This is my 2nd schecter , already shopping for a 3rd
