My Schecter Studio 5 Stiletto bass fits nice and snug in this Schecter Bass Case. The hinges and latches look and feel reliable and sturdy. The key and locking latch is a little difficult to work, you've got to twist it pretty hard to get it to lock or unlock. I think this is common with most guitar case locks. The main reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because of the placement of the handle. Schecter installed the handle about two thirds of the way towards the back of the case (where the guitar body would go). I understand the purpose for the handle offset; however, with the guitar in the case the front end still sags when carried from the handle. This makes the case very difficult to carry when it's empty. I'm almost 6 feet tall and the last time I picked up the empty case in a hurry the front of the case hit the ground. Fortunately, the case is durable and there was no damage. I have also found that i need to turn the case around to carry up star-cases. Despite this design flaw (in my opinion), the case is well made and durable. I would still recommend it to others, especially because of how well it holds the Schecter stiletto style basses.

I plan to play this bass for years. If something happens to this one then I will get another Schecter bass. I like it that much. I choose this bass because of the price and the way it looks. But I will keep it because of the way plays, sounds and looks.
Ease of Use
Plays great you can get a lot of great sound very Easley. This bass came in the mail set up and ready to play. I have been playing bass for over 30 years and this bass plays as good or better than any I have played. I have a 4 string bass that coast a lot more money and does not play any better. I did not get a manual with this guitar but it's no big dill. Over all I would say anybody form a beginner to a pro. Would enjoy playing this bass.
Quality
It is a well made bass everything about it looks brand new. The finish is great and there was no blemishes at all. It was packed and shipped very well no problems at all. I thank I will play this bass for years and years with no problem.

Wow. First of all the ebony fretboard is amazing. Very versatile as far as sound equalization goes. Very easy action.... would recommend to future bass players. Needed adjusting a bit but worth the effort.
