It is all it was described to be. After holding and playing this guitar, I would expect a much higher price tag on it. I am the type of person that will find fault with nearly every instrument I play but I found it very hard with this one. If I had to name one down side to it, it would be the pickup's are not as defined as I would like them to be but definitely not "muddy" as previously reviewed. Over all, a great buy and zZounds were a pleasure to deal with as always.

I own several guitars and have been playing for over 40 years. Out of the box this guitar was fantastic and ready to play, no tweaks needed.

Purchased this a few days ago. A lot of fun to play. Sounds great, good action, Floyd Rose stays in tune after breaking in the strings. zZounds packaged it well and it was delivered on time

"Decent guitar for the price"

This guitar has the same quality as my nine hundred dollar Jackson has. The finish is beautiful, the neck feels great, it actually plays and feels the same as my Jackson. A few issues though. The Floyd rose special did not stay in tune well until I blocked it. The finish on the FR has already started to wear off and I've only had it almost a month. It came with tens on it.The setup out of the box was ok but it buzzed in spots and I couldn't get the action as low as I like it, not to say that the action is bad. I changed it to nines and had to adjust the truss rod and raise the bridge even further as it buzzed in spots and fretted out in a lot of spots on the b and g strings. There were a few sharp frets at the high end of the neck. The pickups aren't bad, but if you try to roll back the volume knob, they don't clean up well. The guitar has almost no sustain,I tend to blame that in the crappy metal the Floyd special is made from.It definately needs a professional set up, as do most sub 500.00 guitars. The biggest drawback is the Floyd special and the fact that it, as most guitars nowadays, comes with no case.

"schecter from Indonesia "
If you can't afford a mexican or a Korean made guitar of any brand which is at least 500$ this is your good choice. The neck is real nice and probably the specifications that i would prefer on my custom made if I ever get one. It's a three piece maple and there is very little finish so it's really nice. The body and top is really good and in the picture it looks just normal and kinda like a jackson dinky but looks awesome in your hands. The VERY BIG problem with this guitar is the craftsmanship. FMIC and made in India jacksons are good and epiphone and squier quality is acceptable but this guitar is NOT good with craftsmanship. The action was bad,the finish on the neck plate was half-gone when I received it,and the finish on the bridge is going off, there were sings of some sorta black glue around the inlays in the neck, frets had bad buzzes mostly nothing that would go on the amp but the most f-ed up thing was that i had to set up the action HIGH to make first frets of 1st and 2nd strings barley play. The pickups couldn't deliver a good clean(they sounded great but a little gain wouldn't just go away) but the coil-spilt is real nice. The versatile and modern tone is great and definitely a recommendation if you want everything on a guitar and something like jackson but a little bit more like prs.
