At this price point this guitar is hard to beat. The roasted maple and ebony board feel great in the hands. The frets are massive and make the guitar a real joy to play. The construction is top notch. Nut was cut great, fret crowning and leveling is prefect no fret buzz at all. I wasn't sold on the pickups before buying this guitar and was considering replacing them, but after having actually played them they're definitely staying in this guitar. They are pretty hot, but not too much to where it's uncontrollable. Real great clarity to them with no harsh top end. Nice and round sounding. The only feature I would have liked to see added would be SS frets, but I don't think that should deter you from this guitar. I'd just like to note that the frets that came on it were scratchy. I ended up having to polish the frets, tighten the truss rod an eighth turn and set the intonation and string heights as well as change the strings. Be prepared to do those things. Once I had the guitar setup it played like a dream. Highly recommend this guitar.
