"EXCELLENT QUALITY, AND PLAY ABILITY, VERY SOLID FEEL."
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Very nice piece of work by schecter research. very easy play, i like the way the guitar feels, and how easy it is to play, as a player with small hands. the color is more a sapphire blue, the shifts to purple. not like the picture shown in a teal green. that was a disappointment, although i will keep it as it is.the sustainic feature is different from what im use to. but will like it once i am use to it. the guitar sounds terrific. and what you would expect with the price tag. overall very pleased with it. wish they were more color options to choose from. zZounds is a good retailer to buy from. i have bought from them a couple times over the years and been treated fairly, never any issues with their help or knowledge. pay as you go is a good deal for people who don't want to pay all at once.

"Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid"
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I have bought all of my Schecter guitars here and they're is no better place to get a great service, had a couple of small issues but I have got it absolutely perfect worth every penny
Sound
I am a metal head and this guitar is the metal dream can be toned down with the new to me intensity knob, like the battery layout layout saves me money, my fine tuners are put into the chrome and are hard to use, I have ordered a tap to remedy the situation.Other than that it's beautiful and the sound is insane, I love Schecter guitars they're just great bargains
Features
I have no complaints on components, the Sustaniac is absolutely incredible, I am in love with the whole package
Ease of Use
I have a C1 and the sound is also good, this is a much easier to play in about 30 minutes, I have the Damien so it's an easy transition. I can't find anything else that sounds even close to the raw power of the active pickups
Quality
I am extremely happy to have one guitar that's so good looking just hanging from my wall, I don't know why but the chrome and thick shine will last me fit years to come. I average about about 4-5 hours a day
Value
There's no guitar I have found that even comes close to the cost for the wow factor and the sound is insane.
Manufacturer Support
I broke a string block, on my Damien and they're very good for getting you to the closest place to get parts, that was my fault
The Wow Factor
I have always been a big fan of active pickups and it's paired up with a great EMG it's the most powerful beautiful and had to have it, and have no regrets about the price it's a lot of guitar for the price

"Love it"

This is my first Schecter not from the USA shop, and I'm pretty impressed. Although I would much rather this model was made in the USA, I am pleased with it for the most part. The sound is great, and it looks amazing. I love that it has the Sustainiac, as I'm losing interest in guitars that do not have it. I thought I wouldn't like the painted neck, but it actually feels and looks great. It is mostly easy to play except it is a bit heavy. The neck/fret board are not as thin as my Ibanez S, but what is? I only have one other gripe about this guitar. The plastic piece on the pickup selector came off, but it slipped right back on, thankfully. Overall, I absolutely love it, and I would buy it again. In fact, if I could afford it, I would buy another one just like it in case something happens to this one.

"Great features but higher than expected action"
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
The features on this guitar cannot be beaten for the price. The locking nut on mine sat higher than I would have liked and the volume knob was tilted at a pretty big angle. It sounded excellent and the build quality was high for the most part. I sent mine in because of the high nut and tilted knob and they sent me a used one that was squeaky and scratched for the full price of a new one. I will update the review if they send me a good new one next time.

"Third Time's The Charm"

The first guitar seemed like a B stock. The nut was way too high. Sent it back, the second one came, seemed better, but the binding was crooked in many spots and even sticking out over the clear in a spot. Both had a flaw where the neck pickup ring extended over top of the binding. Not a great look for a $1300 guitar. The 2nd one also had a flaw in the pickup switch. Both these had action that was way too high and seemed like I couldn't get it adjusted. The 3rd one is great. The ring doens't not extend over the binding design, everything works, and there are no finish flaws. Seems Schecter needs to up their quality control a bit. Love THIS guitar now. Just going to drop and trem stabilizer on it and I'll be very happy. zZounds was FANTASTIC taking 2 exchanges.
