Whatever is going on at The South Korean plant where these guitars are made, Gibson,Fender, PRS, and Jackson need to wake up because the quality of these guitars are brilliant!!! First off the price. I found this guitar for almost 100 dollars less on another site(which is crazy considering the quality, playability, and the pickups and Floyd Rose and the Grover Tuners) ZZounds not only matched the price but knocked off another 15 bucks and shipped free. This guitar brand new is going for $700 and up everywhere, if, IF they have it to sell. This is a special edition, its not even on Schecters web site. Its a beautiful piece of art, mahogany body, very thick and weighty, maple cap, thin neck, abalone gothic crosses on the rosewood fretboard. The hardware is outstanding, grover tuners, Floyd rose 1000 series, NOT A FR Special! Active pickups(EMG 81 AND 89) and comes set up from the quality control in California, I did not have to do ANYTHING! This is a new thing Schecter is doing I suppose. Also outstanding care taken when shipped, TRIPLE BOXED, 3 boxes to protect it. Again this is easily a 1200-1500 guitar if it was made in the USA, but the quality workmanship coming from South Korea blows my mind, they are absolutely putting out superior guitars compared to USA Companies at the insane price range. I cant see this guitar going down in value and I still cant understand how these guitars are being sold for peanuts! A++++ for Schecter and for ZZOUNDS!!! Buy this guitar before they are GONE!!!
