I have owned the Demon-7 for about a month now, and I have never had a guitar be so completely perfect for me, in feel, tone, looks, the whole nine yards, right out of the box after some initial setup work. From shimmering cleans, to overdriven rock, to face-hammering metal (my preferred choice), the included stock active pickups in this guitar get the job done with a surprising amount of style!! I must also add...it may just look like a plain satin finish in the pictures, but once you see this guitar in person, the sheer quality of the job done on the finish itself, as well as the aged yellow binding lining the guitar and complimenting the finish, it was quite a sight to behold! In closing, if you are looking for a 7-string that can do just about anything you need it to, and also feel really great while you play it, set your sights southward!!!

Very happy with my experience from the site, the no interest payment plan was a great way to get me a guitar in two days without having to save up for a month like I was planning on doing. As for the guitar, this is my first 7 string so i figured it would be pretty awkward and take me a bit to get used to, but playing it felt surprisingly natural. Easy to reach that 7th string and my hand moves pretty easily up and down the neck. All the frets were sounding good and overall the pickups are decent. Middle pickup position gets great chugs but i couldnt pull off any pinch harmonics until i changed to the higher pickup position, though that could easily have been my fault. Looks great and is a lot of fun to play. Certainly getting my next guitar or bass from here.

Probably the best budget 7-String I've played. First off, absolutely beautiful guitar. I love the finish, although mine unfortunately was not completely smooth (grainy spots on the body). The pickups sound great for being stock, tons of bite for those heavier riffs. My main issue however came from the sticker on the back of the guitar claiming to be fully set up. Not only was the guitar not properly set up, but it was also virtually unplayable out of the box. Crazy amount of back bow in the neck, and the bridge was essentially bolted down it was so tight. Needless to say, it had to be intonated. Plus, some of the frets were still sharp. Don't get me wrong, this guitar is only $550 USD so I understand you get what you pay for. But I'm thinking about the kid who doesn't know anything about setting up a guitar, thinking they suck because all they're hearing is fret buzz. All I'm saying is Schecter, please don't advertise that your guitars are fully inspected and set up if that is not the case. Shoutout to zZounds though, I don't blame you for any of this and I love you boo boo.

I played my buddy's new demon 7 and couldn't put it down. it was past awesome.it opens up a new definition of guitar playing for me. I want one .
