Great guitar right out of the box, sounds great and is an excellent guitar in this price range. I would highly recommend this guitar, definitely not my last Schecter guitar.

I like the Schecter Banshee Extreme 6 guitar that I purchased from zZounds.com. When I first pulled it out of the box, I was impressed with the looks of the guitar. It's very well made. When I tried to play it, the strings were fretting out in the first few frets, and the frets felt scratchy. I loosened the strings, leveled the neck using the truss rod, polished the frets, and oiled the fretboard. I tuned the strings to pitch, and checked intonation. It's not fretting out now, and the frets feel glassy smooth. Plugged it in and checked the controls and pickups. Controls are smooth, and it sounds great. I played a few tunes, and find that I like this guitar. It's a welcome addition to my arsenal.
