I had this microphone for a year. You can tell subtle differences with an XLR connection vs. a instrument line to your source. One thing about this mic is that the mic neck is not flexible enough to point into the bell. I had to rig it with small rubber bands to close gap into the bell. If they update this model, make the neck bend more freely and stay put, which may mean a different design for the mic neck.
