"Apocalypse Electric Guitar"
Verified Purchaser
zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
I have already bought other guitars/Instruments but they are in a different category, semi-hollow body, hollow body and keyboard so I didn't buy them cause I was unhappy with it. Just moving in a different musical direction since I got it. I intend to keep it.
Sound
It sounds good, it is the only solid body electric I own, I tend more
toward semi hollow bodies. I put Rocker 11/48 nickel plated strings
by Everly on it.
Features
I did not come with a case. I got the case from kiss.com and it is the
most plush interior of any case I have. If I had it to do over I would buy the pro model for the set in neck, but I am happy. The pro model has come down in price since I got mine a year ago. It looks really cool, the red and black color and the shape. The shape is more for standup playing than sitting.
Quality
It came in good condition. I am big on guitar care and use fretboard conditioner, polish, etc and after a year and a few string changes it has held up very nicely. It is a good idea to keep an eye on it and tighten up things like screws here and there but same with all my other guitars.
Value
Its worth the money they ask but remember the case is an extra $100
or so. I don't think other very high priced solid body guitars are worth the money so I am happy with what I got for the money I spent.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed to use support so inoccent until proven guilty
The Wow Factor
I don't think guitars have sex appeal. It is a thing, not a living creature. I gave it a 9 so it would not appear to down grade my other ratings. I think you should take this question out of this review page.

"Rockin out Guitar!!!"
I am going to get another guitar but I will plan to play all three of my guitars, I'm not gonna just play one guitar, all guitars have a good sound no matter what. Each and every guitar has it's own unique sound and they all deserve to be played.
Sound
You know, to me, there is nothing wrong with this guitar. It has a great look, an awesome sound, and I think that there is nothing that can make this guitar sound better. It sounds awesome as it is.
Features
It came with a cord which I really needed cause my other cord is shot so that was helpful, I think the two humbuckers put on it are one of the reasons it has an awesome sound, the tone put on it makes it unbelievable!
Quality
This product is well built, I like the design of the body and how it kinda use to be the Flying V shape and then they just kinda looked at it and made it a whole different V.
Manufacturer Support
The company tried to ship the guitar as fast as they could, and they did, they said it should have gotten to my house on July 13 but instead the company and Fedex got it here on July 9.
The Wow Factor
This guitar makes you want to buy it in a heartbeat, when I first saw it, the first thing I did was buy it. If only more people knew about it then the company would have no problem gettin these guitars away.
Musical Style:
Hard Rock

Silvertone Paul Stanley Apocalypse Special Electric Guitar Customer Review
Sound
Through a Fender frontman 15g it cranks, I can't believe the sound I get outta this cheap crappy guitar, it's proven to me that those old guitars we laughed at back when Sears Roebuck and Co. Sold them back in the 70's are probably the best buy for the money.
