The guitar just arrived and has a very crisp clear tone. First experience with lipstick PUPS. Slight issues with fedex but zzounds support was helpful and reassuring when fedex showed the wrong delivery time. The fit and finish is excellent. No sharp fret ends. No truss rod adjustment required or bridge/action. All is required was dusting it off and tuning the strings. It did say in the ad it has dble stacked controls but they are single controls handled by the switch
Sound
Sound quality is excellent. nice clear jangly sound as I would expect from the single coil pickups
Features
It's a good basic electric solid body. Has good tone and came out of the box with a solid setup. Just required dusting tuning and plugging in.
Ease of Use
It is simple as plugging it in and fiddling with the knobs to get a variety of sounds. It will not compete with the fullness of humbuckers but that's to be expected form single coil pickups. For fuller sound the silvertone 1478 would be a better option.
Quality
Well made and solid feeling. Fret ends are perfectly dressed and not sharp at all. Fretboard was a tad dry but it's probably been stored a long time.
Value
It is worth the price.

The Wow Factor
The color and finish are stunning. I ordered the copper finish, and it was better than expected from just looking at the photos.
