I just finished a lengthy opine on the DW 5 1/2 x 14 design series nickel/brass snare drum. So this will be brief but background info might be in that review. This cymbal really sounds a lot different than Paiste 900 pack I got at zZounds a year ago. It’s got a lot of character (I’m too new to articulate the lingo). Its a great contrast to the other cymbals.
Sound
Unique sound I was looking for.
Features
It’s shiny, my Paiste 900 are kinda matte. I dig both finishes. And I dig that they DON’t match. Adds variety. It sounds different on my set up so it really adds an extra vibe to my kit. Both visually and acoustically.
Ease of Use
Being a nice cymbal it is fairly easy to make sound into music.
Quality
Nice shiny and sounds make this very very nice for beginners like myself. But I don’t see, as per the product description, why any advanced or pro drummers wouldn’t dig this Sabian cymbal.
Value
This Sabian XSR 18” fast crash seems designed just right for frugal but quality minded folks.
The Wow Factor
This cymbal was what I want, needed and zZounds facilitated my kit, pedals, and now the Sabian XSR Fastcrash. Thanks Sabian and zZounds☁️☁️

Do not waste your money on this product. The cymbal is made of thin metal and is brighter than a 16" cymbal. Purchase a quality cymbal with your money. This one is trash.
