Sabian B8 Super Set Promo Cymbal Pack

A great beginner set, the B8's straddle the line between price and performance while delivering resilient construction.

Sound
Good sounding beginner cymbals. They are bright, lively, and don't sound like trash can lids. The ride is my favorite and has a nice ping with a good resonance. The hit hats have a little higher pitched tone to them, little on the lighter side for my taste. The crashes and splash sound great, bright with nice tails, not harsh at all.
Features
Features? They are cymbals, you can't beat the pack for the price.
Ease of Use
Sounds great right out of the box!
Quality
Not heavy cymbals, but they appear to be good enough to stand a fairly hard hitter. My drummer pounded on them for a few practices and loved them.
Value
Can't beat it.
Manufacturer Support
They have a five year warranty, so if I break them, I'll call the company and get them replaced. No problems so far.
The Wow Factor
These are the best, cheapest set I could find. I spoke to several drummer friends who agreed Sabian is the best of the budget cymbals.

Clearly, not the nicest cymbals ever made, however, you absolutely WILL NOT find a better deal for the money. The 14 inch crash is my favorite. Also, for a B8, the splash is nice. I probably wouldn't buy them again, ONLY because I firmly believe in "trading up". But they're great for beginner cymbals. If you're an aspiring drummer, such as myself, you'll DEFINITELY see your money's worth out of these high-quality, low-end Sabian cymbals. \m/

I am already saving up for Sabian AAX, for any one reading this, save up for AAX, skip all the others below them
Sound
Sabian B8 Cymbal Set. 14,16,18 crash 14 Hhats, 20 Ride. I am a experienced drummer and have used Sabian for over 10years. I recently purchased a set of B8 cymbals fro ZZ sounds. Hi hats tin sound, I turned them over with the heavier one on top cleaned up the sound abit. the 14 and 16 inch crash cymbals, sound cheap and dead. the 18 is the best sounding of all..
Features
These are okay for beginners, and rehearsals but not for shows.
Ease of Use
the package was in good shape and they manufacture packed them well.
Quality
the finish is nice, the product is good, but the sound is horrible
Value
compaired to other cymbals the B8 pack is within the normal
Manufacturer Support
ZZ SOunds is a awesome company, and I made the mistakes of ordering the cymbal pack..
The Wow Factor
the looks and the performance are two different things, the B8 looks great but the performance lacks tonal quality
