"Great Cymbal"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
It'll be until this cymbal breaks when I need a new one. I may get another one for diversity. I was also looking at the AA splash cymbal and a Zildjian 8" A Fast Splash, the AA wasn't bad but it was too ringy, the Zildjian was also a ringy cymbal and I wasn't impressed by the tone.
Sound
The sound of this cymbal is short explosive. I chose the 8" one because of it's especially short sustain the AA had to much of ring for me. If you like a short explosive in a splash cymbal this is defiantly for you.
Features
Silly Zzounds what features are there on a cymbal?
Ease of Use
It took me a while to get used to a small cymbal like this one. I would constantly miss it. The good thing is, is that if you just skim the tip you will still get a decent sound.
Quality
Sabian always make high quality cymbals. Never had one issue with a cymbal cracking and I had a minor issue with key holes on one of my cymbals but that was own fault. Remember, always protect from keyholes, the rubber protectors are about $0.70 and will save you a headache.
Value
Now I think $80 for a 1/4 of a cymbal is a bit high, but that is the cheapest to get it at.
Manufacturer Support
I will always go with Sabian because of their support. They have one of (if not) the best support centres for a company. I shot them an email once and I was replied to within 10 minutes by a human. I think all Sabian cymbals come with a year warranty.
The Wow Factor
I makes your kit look diverse by just adding a small cymbal, everyone loves the small cymbal (including me).

Right out of the bag this cymbal has a bright finish. Sounds great and feels very sturdy. Its not like the other flimsy ones that looks like it will bend easily. Worth Every penny. The ONLY thing that might be a problem is that its not super loud, compared to a crash or china. But for my style of music its perfect, just throwing it out there so keep that in mind.
