These cymbals sound great. Hi-Hats have a bright clap to them and the crashes have the tonal qualities as discribed... The ride is probably my favorite right now it's got a nice loud bell and a crisp ping to it but on the flip side if you want a ride you can wail on the sabian AAX is where it's at... The only thing I have an issue with is that with the brilliant finish on the cymbals it's very difficult to get rid of finger prints...Overall I was very pleased with my purchase.

I can't believe the value in this package the Hi hats and ride alone would run over 600 dollars so for about an extra hundred you get 2 awesome crashes- wow!!! I love how versatile these cymbals are I love playing all sorts of music and they work in them all They sound awesome whether you hit them hard or soft

I own various Sabian Cymbals, The AAX is my favorite line. Comparing these Cymbals against other makes the clear winner is the AAX. Durable with excellent sounds. These can cut the heavy music and then be used for a light blues set. I have AAX Cymbals from 2003, I still incorporate them into my mix.
