Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature Electric Guitar

We all know the "F" in "F-hole" stands for feedback -- the Kyle Shutt Signature sealed semi-hollow gives you that warm resonance, without all the squealing.

The Reverend Kyle Schutt Signature Electric is perhaps one of the best guitars out there. I own 3 Fender Strats, 5 Gibson Les Pauls, and a variety of other American made guitars. This little gem has become my favourite of all of them. The action and playability are second to none and the sound is just phenomenal! I've had this guitar for 5 days now, and it just doesn't stop amazing me. I wasn't sure I'd like the Railhammer pickups (I'm a died in the wool Seymour Duncan user), but they have performed with stellar results. I love the independent bass and tone knobs and the volume pots have a very nice swell from 0 to 10. The finish is impeccable! Mine is the Metallic Alpine Burst and just looks gorgeous. The guitar holds tune very well. The factory setup was spot on and the guitar is very well balanced. Definitely not neck heavy. The only complaint I have is that for the price, a case or at least a gig bag should come with the guitar. And don't get me wrong, this guitar is a steal at $1200. It plays and sounds better than just about any higher priced guitar out there. Right now I'm running thru a Marshall JCM 800 Plexi 50 watt half stack. I've also tried it through my 1969 Fender Princeton, Vox AC15, Crate V15, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Laney Pro Tube 50 watt, and a Lenahan Snakeskin 50 watt. I'm happy with the sounds from everything I've played it through. For a quality guitar that won't break the bank, the Reverend Kyle Schutt Signature is the one to get!

I've always wanted to check out Reverend Guitars. After hearing that one of my favourite new guitarists, Kyle Schutt, not only played Reverend but also had a his own model, the time had come to pull the trigger. And man, am I glad I did. I purchased the Kyle Schutt model in Metallic Alpine Green since green is one of my favourite colours. The guitar was extremely well packed and the set up was great right out of the box. All it needed was tuning up and it was ready to go. Controls are laid out in a familiar way, i.e. two volume, one tone and one bass contour. I'm in love with the Railhammer pickups. Much beefier than most humbuckers. The locking machine heads are a real plus, as well. I love the semi hollow body with no "F" holes. I can get just the right amount of feedback when I need it without going overboard. I own and play Fenders, Gibsons, Deans, Hamers, and Schecters. I can honestly say that the Reverend Kyle Schutt Model is my new go to guitar. it is so easy to play it's just hard to put it down. In short I LOVE THIS GUITAR!
