I own 6 electric guitars, ranging from a 96 MIM customized tele, 2 Epi Les Pauls, 1 Gibson Les Paul Classic and a Gibson SG, none of them sound remotely close to the Reverend. I’m a novice player, but if I had bought this first, I would own only 3,the Les Paul Classic, the tele and this GEM, the bridge pickup (Railhammer), sounds better to my ears than the 57 zebra pickups on my LP and has more versatility than the hot Tex mex pickup on my tele,. The guitar fits better, a lot lighter(the Classic is hefty) and my tele has its own snarl, but the Double Agent flat out sounds better. I don’t use a whammy bar, so I bought this model, I am a big fan of maple necks, which this and my tele have.. right out of the box, close to perfection, I owned an American strat, no comparison,
