"Great product, great legacy, get it now! "

i would say overall this is great, that is pretty much all you need to explain how good it is. GREAT!!!
Sound
Roland makes the best electronic drums out there. i have yet to sit on a drum throne behind an electronic set closed my eyes and could promise it was an acoustic kit, BUT, if you closed your eyes and just listened to this kit you would promise it was an acoustic kit. The response of this kit is great, the rubber pads are, well... just that rubber, but the trigger system lets them have a response time like an acoustic, the feel isn't quite the same, but, it is still great.
Features
you would think you could get a little amp/speaker and a kick pedal for the price you pay. BUT, its the law of supply and demand, where when something is as good as this, people are going to buy it, and that is true, this is a great kit.
Ease of Use
I don't think i am fully un bias. because my church has the V-12 by roland, so i already knew what did what for the most part. BUT it is a lot easier then the V-12, and that one was easy to use.
Quality
NEVER, NEVER have i heard of a Roland drum kit break, or stop working. i have hit hard on my churches and it still responds like it did in the first place. it is great. Roland makes amazingly strong, well sounding, life time equipment.
Value
I deffenitly say that if you want a GOOD electronic kit, and you have the money then you need to buy this kit. BUT, while it is the best brand of electronic drum kits out there, they do cause a big dent in the wallet.

"Amazing e-drum!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I will never tired of this e-drum!
Sound
It sounds amazing. It has all the sounds you need, and a little more.
Features
It didn't include trone, drum pedal and phones. For the price I think big drum pedal should have been included. It had all the features I needed.
Ease of Use
It's very easy to setup, and use. It couldn't have been more easyer.
Quality
As always with Roland, it's a amazing quality! You get what you pay for. And that is much! The rubber pads are great, and so are the crymbals.
Value
It's so worth the money!
Manufacturer Support
Never used it.

"Pretty good"

I'm very happy with this. I had both this and the TD-3 side by side and went with this because of the dual trigger pads, the upgraded sound module, and the better stand. I'm just learning drums and I need something that will be playable AND fun so that I spend more time on them. For me, this kit seems "complete", in that it doesn't make me salivate for something more. The TD-3 really makes you wish for a higher quality brain and dual trigger tom capability. The TD-6SX makes you wonder why upgrading the toms to mesh pads drops the rim shot capability. The TD-6V is just right.
Sound
Somewhat convincing. I haven't played drums before so I don't have that discrimiating an ear but they have me fooled for the most part. Lots of cool sounds. You can't change the way the sounds are modeled like the TD-12 but there are lots of variations in the sound banks for you to play with. The sequences are, well, cheasy sounding! C'mon Roland, you've been doing MIDI sound modules long enough to know how to get really great sounding songs out of MIDI instruments. Oh well, they are still fun to play along to.
Features
Lots of sounds, instruments, and sequences. Tap sequences, lots of metronome sounds, ability to assign crazy stuff to the tom rim shots. Keeps it fun, keeps me playing on the kit. I chose this over the TD-3 for these reasons. It's pretty cool that the buttons are big enough that you can press them with the tips of your drum sticks. Also, I'd recommend mounting the sound module on the central bottom rack. It frees up space for your high hat. You can actually position it right above the high hat pedal to mimick a real one. Another intersting note, the high hat pedal "splash" (quickly lowering the high hat then raising) is pretty easy to trigger with this module. For the TD-3 it didn't work as well.
Ease of Use
I didn't know that much about drums or this module and I could figure out most of the functionality without the manual. That said, I thought the manual was pretty good for the nitty gritty stuff.
Quality
The sound module feels a lot more solid than it looks, which is cool. The stand doesn't feel as solid as it looks but works ok. You just have to remember to keep everything fairly tight or the triggers will move when you hit them hard. Nothing feels cheap. Kudos Roland. (By the way, I thought the TD-3 sound module felt pretty cheap, bad Roland)
Value
Not a good deal, not a bad one. They are pretty much the only game in town. I wish the price was less, they just need more competition. For what it is, it's a quality product at a corresponding price.
Manufacturer Support
Never used them.
The Wow Factor
Roland is good at making you want stuff. Their complete kits are cool and upgradable. But the upgradable parts are so dang expensive that you find yourself wanting to upgrade the whole kit. The turn off point is the price. If I was going to upgrade, I'd wouldn't upgrade the parts, I'd go straight for the TD-12.
