I bought the Roland SRX-02 Concert Piano expansion board...I did not like the sounds at all the seemed dark and lifeless. This SRX-11 is hands down the best piano board between the two. The difference is night and day. If you are on the fence between the "Concert Piano SRX-02" and this board the "Complete Piano SRX-11" I would highly recommend the SRX-11

The SRX-11 came with a philips screw driver and cd for the Fantom updates. I own a Juno Stage so the cd did not benefit me at all. I was hoping there were demos of the pianos on the disc like the SRX-02 disc had.

This is basically "plug and play" it is very easy to install new expansion boards.

zZounds gave me a good deal on this board as well as the "Ultimate Keys SRX-07" The Complete Piano is the best board in my opinion. The Pianos are unbelievable.

I had called Roland once regarding another issue...No one called me back...

Physically there is no sex appeal but the beautifulness of the pianos are unbelievable and inspiring..

I bought the SRX-11 Complete Piano a year ago. For a long time I wondered why I couldn't get the piano sound or response I was looking for, so I didn't write a review and I sympathized with others who rated the SRX-11 poorly. Recently, I decided to try a guitar cable (Live Wire $16) to connect to the amp. WOW! This is the best piano synth I've ever heard! Now I have exactly what I wanted. It has surpassed my expectations. I can hear every penny. Thank you Roland. If you bought this product and you're not getting the sound you expected, check out the cable you're using. If it's not designed to connect instruments to an amp, try an instrument cable. All cables are not the same.
