I purchased this microphone setup based on a recent experience with a semi-professional podcaster. Everything went fine with their podcast episode, but the audio recordings were clipping in his camera. This was a non-issue, because each transmitter had crystal-clear and pristine recordings of the host and guest. One the recordings were downloaded and lined up according to the clapper, things went as smooth as possible. My personal experience with this setup dictated that I charge each device in the kit and then immediately update the firmware. From there, I adjusted each device's name and settings to my personal preferences. After a few test recordings, I was satisfied that I could have uneventful recordings and simply move forward with projects without having to worry about bad audio recordings.Of note: I purchased two of the (Rode RodeLink Lav Professional Wearable Lavalier Microphone) lavaliere microphones with my kit. This purchase decision was to minimize visual distractions in video recordings. One of the things I learned in film school was to hide all recording equipment the best way you can. The transmitter themselves are too bulky to be in videos in my opinion. However, purchasing the lavaliere microphones allow for microphone placements in a manner that is not so distracting.

I’ve had these for a day. When testing the software to take export the audio, my computer freezes. I have a fast computer but this program was taking over my ram. This might be a roadblock if it keeps doing this.
