I'd used Rode mics in the past but didn't expect much based on the price. Had a vocal session to do and my U-sual 87 is acting weird again (70s) so I grabbed this to cover my bases. Wasn't a very knowledgeable client and the mics i used never even came up. So on a Saturday morning when my very average singer client stepped upto the NT1 our initial reaction was shock. She sounded brilliant, the NT1 itself sounds wonderful but with the included software it opens up a whole new dimension of "wow"... not big on an audio engineer in a box kinds of gimmick but this really works and with the lowest noise floor imaginable using the lrovided USB C cable ...32 bit float is real, no more freaking out settimg gain no more heavy upfront preamp hiss to eq around...Truly? 250? ...definitely keeping this one
