I was skeptical about the longevity of these but after a few months they're still going strong. These heads have allowed me to jam without issue in a house that contains a toddler, a newborn, and a somewhat irritable wife. I couldn't ask for more. It feels good to be behind a kit again. Well worth the money!

I've been a Remo fan since I started drumming. The dog, wife and neighbors are all big fans of my new Silent Stroke heads. To get the tone and volume I desired, I placed painters tape on parchment paper and cut circles 1/3 the diameter of the heads. Transferred the circles to the heads. Exactly the tone I was looking for. And moongel on the LV cymbals to even everything out. Perfect!
Sound
Great rebound/real feel. I'm new to mesh heads. Durability is a concern, but I used impact patches to enhance tone and volume. So I doubt it will be an issue.
Ease of Use
With air flow being the main function of low volume heads, I feel Remo could spend more time on R&D with this particular product. I cut circles out of painters tape to use as impact patches 1/3 the size of each head (1/2 the size of the bass head) to achieve a nice tone at a comfortable volume. IMO, mesh alone doesn't move enough air to be effective.
Quality
As with all other Remo products, this looks and feels very well constructed.
Value
At nearly half of the cost of some other name brand solutions, this seems to be a fair price.
Manufacturer Support
I've had no need to contact Remo about any of their products.
The Wow Factor
I feel this a great low volume solution for anyone that lives in an environment where others might be bothered by your drum practice.
