The amp feels and sounds like a valve amp period can't tell the difference . First you need to put the level on the overdrive channel up full to get the valve sound then work your gains to suit and your master volume gets you up where ya wanna be . Truelly shocked how this amp is so good I'm using no pedals just straight in .I've owned every amp from fender to marshall and this beats anything I previously owned I play rock and blues from Warren Haynes to deep purple with a Les Paul and an ibanez rg .

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Sound
it's NOT versatile ... for METAL player ONLY !! it's the best distortion i ever heard on a combo amp of this price ! if you like to cut the mid or if you want to put a cabinet on it i suggest you a RG200G3 ... you have more power to play live of to pratice with a band !!
Features
the celestion speaker is fu**in' nice !! it's not like the cheap blue marvel we can find in the peavey combo!!
Quality
i think it's an high quality amp because i have a friend who have the same and he use it live every week and it's #1
Value
best sound/power/price i ever see
