If you're looking for a tube amp that rocks but won't break your back lugging it around, this is it. Smaller than most heads of this type with plenty of power. Smooth knobs, well built with a ripping sound that reminds me of a 100 watt Hiwatt I had in the 70's. I love this little beast. Been playing forty years in many bands and many a crazy gig so I think that counts for something. The only problem I can see is a lack of info on biasing for when I'll have to change the stock ruby tubes. They sound great. The Play as you Pay payment plan offered is a great thing.

Played this amp in a local music store and could not believe it ! Amazing sounds in every style. I figured it would kick butt for Heavy Metal but never imagined it could handle classic rock as well as it did. With the two channels and each having its own separate boost volume and gain you can get a lot of sounds with a simple foot switch. Glowing red lights on the inside make the Diavlo as stunning stage prop too as the 6L6's show through nicely. Built light and easy to move thanks to good handles on amp head and casters on cab. I started off with a Randall rg1003h but had to send it back because it was defected but wasn't truly happy with the sound. I got the Randall RD45 to try something else but have it match the Randall 4x12.This amp sounded amazing out of the box. The overdrive (distortion channel) sounded way better then the rg1003h and the cleans sound clear. I was sceptical of buying a 45w head but this thing is loud. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this head. I am use to having pedals hooked up but haven't had to use any yet. I probably use them later just to see what other tones I get, but as of now I am happy just plugging the guitar straight in.Just an FYI I like playing all kinds of metal and it's done me right.

Haven't had to call them so that's 5 stars right there.
