Seen a review complaining it doesn’t feel like a tube amp, and issues with pedals, from my experience mine has a great stock tube amp sound and can feel somewhat like a tube amp with correct limiter settings but this amp really shines when limiter is off or dialed down with the Vox smooth impact tube comp that has a specific sag mode in the effects loop and will solve that feel issue, and the amp responds like a tube amp and sounds even better in my opinion. Any compressor pedal can help increase the sag but the vox has a tube and it responds to fuzz and drive of the amp way better than a stock comp or the stock limiter. Responds to different speakers well settled on the 12evm.

after having played through several tube amps this thing just won't cut it. it just does not have that amplike tuby feel to it. and my overdrive pedals sounded very sterile and lifeless. the only amp i've had that was worse sounding than this was my bugera v22. but tone is a very tricky thing. you might like it. by itself the amp models sounded decent but when you turn the gain up pas 3/4 it getts very fuzzy and muddy, maybe it's supposed to, i don't know.
