Overall this speaker has been amazing. The sound is amazing and the set up and tear down is a breeze. Takes less than 1 minute to set up. Pairing this with an additional KC12 you get room filling sound. One con about this speaker for me in my opinion is the overall bass response could be louder. You can boost the bass a bit but it does not pack a punch for heavy bass music. Overall though for any other music type this speaker will do just fine. The craft man ship is top notch from a company like QSC. I'm very happy with this speaker and plan on using it at many events.

I don't know where to begin. But I'm going to begin a thorough vs.I owned the bose l16 pro for about a year, phenomenal speaker, but.. I can't understand why bose just couldn't go the extra mile and make the sub box "wood" the bose speaker sounds great, not like the qsc kc12 though. The midrange drivers are so damn impressive. Those are legit! The high frequency driver i can tell they went a bit efficient on that one, its still great and does the job but its not a qsc k.8 or k.10 or k.12 hf driver. But maybe its because it wouldn't fit in the plastic casing? Or maybe just going with something new. either way its still great and i'm not complaining. Back to bose really quick, the sub does get lower than the kc12, but I mean, its a bigger driver, so it tends to work that way, more cone area. When the bose l16 pro is cranked up, you hear muffled-ness from the driver, port fart noises.. just all bad honestly! Now! This qsc sub driver, in my experience I've never heard a 12 bang like this ever in my life. That little warrior is not a joke. If this was a 15 inch same motor I bet this driver would outperform most column array subs definitely including the bose. I actually prefer the kc sub than the bose! I like how its just as strong as the bose sub, the only thing the bose sub does is gets a little lower, thats it. When the kc12 is cranked up "gets a quite bit louder than the bose" you do here motor noise from the driver, but its like a very little bit noticeable mechanical noise, i personally find it impressive, like damn that sub is putting in the work! No muffled-ness, no port farts. Don't get me wrong, not try to crap on bose.. I hope they really try to improve their pa gear... bose pa portable systems when pushed will give off a awful smell... qsc on other hand. No smell, and just raw power. Like I said in my description, this speakers blows my mind.

I purchased these with a doubt . My brother had listened to them in Anaheim and had mentioned they were a major let down. His fellow dj’s tried talking me into buying the new evolves . I’m a qsc guy , through and though . I had failed to mention to him I had already purchased them . I first tested them in a small conference room . I couldn’t even turn it up . They were too loud ! My first gig with thwm was a wedding . 200 people , and the dance floor was 50 feet away . I couldn’t believe the sound. It projected all the way across the room . When it was time for speeches , it was even more evident that I made the right choice . I usually install a filler in the middle of the room . This time I didn’t . The ease of puttin these together , and using zzounds payment plan made for a great purchase . I haven’t had to use my ks112’s yet for the extra umph. Thank you qsc for finally making these for us mobile dj’s on the go. Also screen is really easy to use , and the Bluetooth is an excellent option . The fact that I can use a channel for mics , with the easy to switch over to “mic mode” feature . I do get a little confused in the settings for the output on the speaker . I want to be able to connect my console in one , and mic into the other .and be able to Daisy Chain over to the other speaker . Any way , thanks for reading . I listened to it for about 45 minutes, listening to JAZZ ,Hip-Hop, Country, Old School, thru my blue-tooth and was very impressed, I could imagined how it would sound connected to my rane -one, I thought my BOSE-L1-16 pro sounded good ,but the KC-12, it sound so clear,and the bass is good as well but the CLARITY, is what won me over, I will be getting one this summer , I'm selling my qsc K-153, with the QSC K-12 I want be needing it anymore
