The well deserved reputation starts with a 13mm hardwood plywood cabinet. Very tough finish as well.The Celestion driver has a bumped back plate to reduce voice coil bottoming and losing the driver. The RMX version amp has a comp/limiter that really works in real life situations. I've never blown a driver and I've seen these speakers in the red most of the night. They are well behaved at high volume and the bass is the most musical I've heard. You hear actual notes, not mush. Watch for loose driver bolts and the wheels are way too hard for distance pushes. I love these boxes so much I own 18 of them!

Sound
I love this sub! I have been around other subs such as JBL's and of course the Mackies and QSC has by far the biggest punch I've heard on any sub.I went to my local dj shop and tested the punch of all three brands and QSC tested the best.
Ease of Use
It is super easy to set it up and power up, Just plug and play.
Quality
One of the best made cabinets. Very heavy duty and love the wheels on this thing.
Value
Pretty pricy but if you could get your hands on atleast one sub. this is the way to go.

Sound
Really low bass for being an Active Sub...blows Mackies, JBL's, Cerwin Vega's Active series away...this is by far the best active subwoofer out there.
Features
A bit on the heavy side but has caster wheels for ease of mobility.
