After a long wait of nearly 10 months my guitar finally arrived today and it was well worth the wait. The quality and value are above even what was expected of a PRS. I have owned and still own a number of Cort-Tek built models from another manufacturer and they are all great guitars and basses. But this PRS SE DGT surpasses even those albeit and a slightly higher price.The guitar arrived double boxed and very well set up with low action and spot on intonation. I seldom receive a new guitar that doesn't need at least some tweaking to get it to my liking but in this case with a little tuning it played extremely well right out of the box. Even the strings PRS provides are of top quality and don't need replacing. That's rare and a nice bonus as well.This is the fourth guitar I've purchased from zZounds and each one has arrived much like this one. I've been very pleased with my dealings and service from them. They kept me well advised with emails of delays in delivery all along and were helpful when I called seeking more information on an expected delivery date. I have come to trust them as a go to online dealer I will always call.

A little backstory. I’m a motorcyclist of 44 years, as long as I’ve played guitar. I’ve owned 17 bikes in those 44 years. My current bike, bought 2 months ago - is the first one that actually puts a grin on my face each time I hit the button. Likewise - I’ve owned easily 30+ guitars. 15 or 16 from zZounds. This Grissom is the perfect culmination of every guitar I’ve owned previous to date. My third PRS (others being Pauls Guitar & McCarty 594) - the consistency and attention to detail from SE line continues to be astonishing. But this Grissom - as per many reviews - kicks it up a notch. After hoping & waiting for a Grissom goldtop, I watched David’s PRS videos with the same exuberance as a kid thumbing through the Sears Christmas Wishbook! The guitar is well balanced in every way, as was lucky to have been gifted with a perfect (and very un-PRS like) 8.2 pounder! Thank you David and PRS for your approach and follow through on this stellar guitar!!

I have been tossing around purchasing a high priced American made McCarty for a long time. To keep my self at bay from the wife fight, i bought one of these "Blemished". I kinda wanted to try a tremelo, but only wanted 22 frets. I ordered the guitar Friday evening and I'll be damned if it didn't show up Saturday around 2. zZounds is fantastic. Love the company and the 12 pay, which also keeps me from having wife fights.

Arrived today in the Michigan winter hard to believe it was in tune out of the box, plays and sounds like a 3000 dollar guitar , the guitar is flawless.
