I bought these for my recording studio to replace some old rokit 6's, they are extremely true!... be very aware of the space you intend to use these in, without sufficient space and room treatment, high end monitors like these will not perform at maximum capability. I am actually planning to purchase the smaller 6" versions for my home studio. I directly compared these to the Adam Ax7 and they actually translated the mix better in my opinion. The Coaxil technology is definitely revolutionary and especially for this affordable price range! i also own the eris e5's and would recommend those for anyone on a budget with a smaller studio environment.

I've lived with my Sceptre 8's for over 2 years now and still wouldn't trade them away. They continue to provide the most revealing audio experience to me. Mixing and some mastering with these have been nothin but a joy. The audio spectrum is presented consistently accurate. My room is treated and these monitors shine. All my mistakes, lol, are revealed until I fix them. love their honesty. And mixes translate well from these.I've paired them with the Temblor 10 sub for a full sound which has to be heard. Incredible for working out the low end and wowing the clients at listening sessions. These have made what I do so much easier and funner:)
