Ok,I get it now. I’ve owned and played Les Paul’s and Strats and shredder guitars like Jackson,Ibanez and the like for decades now,and this this guitar is the best balance between all of them. The 25” scale is the perfect compromise,not too wide nor too close,the neck has almost the identical profile to my American Special Strat,and the pickups are powerful enough to push the front of an amp into breakup but they clean up beautifully. The only gripe I might have is the location of the pickup selector,but every position has a usable sound and I especially like the middle,it sounds like both pickups on full power instead of cutting the power in half like a Les Paul. The finish is perfect,thick and flawless. My friends call PRS the Les Paul killer,and now I know why..
