My guitar collection has come together as a result of being attracted to a particular guitar shape, finish and reputation for quality. In this instance, the Parker PDF 105 is no exception. It sports an alluring shape and clothes it with an attractive quilted maple veneer atop its all mahogany carved body. The body itself if very trim, bordering on "petite". (6.1 lbs) I purchased one of the "like new" versions with the Vintage Burst finish. This "blemished" model was a great buy as it looked and played like new. (Saved an extra $150) The guitar is a "looker" based on shape and paint job alone. It possesses no binding, no fret makers on the fret board itself and very subdued black hardware.Yet the distinctive Parker form factor leaches through making the player want to grab it and start playing. The neck is nice and slim with a satin finish that lets you move quickly up and down the neck that features an ebony fret board. The PDF does have fret markers on the side of the neck which are really all that is needed to get your bearings. I like the Seymour Duncan pickups but have yet to be wow'd by the GraphTech ghost piezo pickups included with the package. Perhaps they would shine more when played through an acoustic amp which I have yet to do. Played through a Fender Super Champ X2, they add a little punch to the magnetic pickups but fall short of a convincing acoustic sound at least to my ears. All things considered, however, the SD pickups provide plenty of punch and are easily adjustable.The tremolo works just fine but I cinched it down quickly as for the most part I'm a non-tremolo player. Either way, the PDF105 stayed in tune once it settled into its new home. I downloaded the manual from Parker's web site. It's fairly detailed with respect to adjustments that are available for neck action, tremolo and truss rod. It also possesses a diagram that lays out the nob assignments on the front of the guitar.When I actually tried to do an adjustment on the action, the included wrenches did not seem to properly engage the screws that control the bridge height. For fear of stripping the screw heads I backed off deciding to let my guitar tech attempt the adjustment. Not that the action was bad out of the box, it was just my curiosity about how well the adjustment feature worked. Overall, I can't imagine being more pleased with a $650 solid body electric that was manufactured in Indonesia. Nor can I imagine better service than is provided by ZZounds. Once again, the guitar arrived in less than 24 hours from date of purchase.

I BUY THIS GUITAR FOR 619$ USE IT ,IT COME BRAND NEW AND NOT USE PROBABLY THE BOX WAS BROKEN BUT i PAY 300 LESS FOR A BRAND NEW GUITAR.The guitar sound excelent .I realy like it
