I was already looking for Reason 7 as my first DAW and needed an interface and when I saw the deal for both at a great price from ZZounds I jumped on it. They shipped it real fast and there where zero problems buying from ZZounds.
As far as Reason 7 it is absolutely mind blowing. The guys over there in Sweden created a killer software package. I am from the old reel to reel studio days so this thing is like going to heaven. The manual is perfect. I LOVE reason 7. Thanks guys, Rob W.

I am an avid user of Reason and my only limitation has always been having the ability to play and record all of my instruments. Now I am having fun thanks to Reason Balance and Essentials. Now I can record guitars, basses, drums, voice etc... with ease and total confidence. There is no latency when using Balance. I can also hit the tuner button at any time to double-check that my instruments are in perfect tune. All composers need to get this product.

for $400 it's by far the best 400 you can spend on any interface! kinda sounds like $1000 when you hook everything up!.......provided you have a computer that can handle the workload! now a days your computer is the backbone

For a home studio, this setup is just awesome. Reason works with every DAW pretty much, this lill smooth flat black high quality balance box is sick, very intuative for just about anyone starting up. Im looking forward to draggin' this to Paris, shack up in a cheap apt for a month and record.

"Reason Balance w Reason Essential software 2.1"

Extremely bad latency issues with Balance interface. I am running EMachines computer with windows 7, 1TB hard drive, 6 GB Ram. I tried adjusting the buffer size to compensate for the bad latency. Didn't work. Great software tough. Love Reason 7 and Reason Essential, but hate the interface issues with Reason Balance interface. I am extremely disapointed with the interface. Would recommend software only. Save your money buy an MBox 3 instead.
