I plan to drive this mixer into the ground if possible, I did not have much success with the same attempt on the 300 and the 3000 they just drove me to buy more Pioneer gear.I'm glad I waited before buying another brand because it would have gotten traded also.
Sound
Sorry Vestax, your rule over the battle mixers has been defeated.Pioneer has touched on every aspect, DJ's like myself has been dreaming of with this one. The 707 sound quality is no different from the 500 and 600 just in a smaller package, which means outstanding. You can create your own style of trick mixing unlike any other with this mean machine.
Features
A non-contact crossfader with a friction adjustment, need I say more and separete FX assignment/send buttons for CH-1, CH-2 and the mic "Come on". This thing is wild, I'm speechless. I can't ask for anything more without sending Pioneer bankrupt, hell they are only asking for $300 for all this.
Quality
What a work of art, the layout is perfect for all styles of mixing. Built like a tank, I can fore-see a long future with this mixer. I owned the 300 for about 7 years with no faul to date, I trade it in for the 707.
Value
Yes YES YES
Manufacturer Support
I never had trouble with their products, but I do call for advice every now and then. They are one of the most helpful and knowledgable about their product companys I have every dealt with. That is one of the reason I go ahead and spend the big dollars on Pioneer DJ gear because you can't go wrong, all the way down to their Headphones (HDJ-1000) need I say more.
The Wow Factor
When I saw these mixers 707 and 909 in a mag. before they were released I thought damm Pioneer you can do better than that. But when they hit the stores and I saw them up close and personnel WOW!!!!! Thats from me and the store clerk. We were equally amased by the appeal and quaility off the back.
