The sound coming out of this cab is astonishing. The highs are crisp and the lows are smooth. You should easily be able to play a medium size gig with one or to of these. Just amazing.

I've been a bassist for over 30 years. I've used Ampeg, SWR, GK cabinets. I bought this little 35 lb. powerhouse for practice and it sounded so good, I bought the Phil Jones C47 to pair with it to use for gigs. These 6 x 7" speakers sound better than most 4x10's at half the weight. I use them with GK head (400rb and 700rb depending on gig) and these cabs sing. Tons of tone and bottom end. Best bass purchase ever.

Having been brand new to Phil Jones Bass products at the time, I was doubtful that I could get so much sound out of such a small enclosure with unconventionally small drivers for "bass". That's until I put this thing into a rehearsal space and had no problem not only being heard clearly over the drums and guitar, but with a clarity and range I had no reason to expect! Then there's the build quality. This little cab is so well-built structured and vented, you'd swear it was a miniaturized Mark Bass or Eden cabinet.Sound big enough to fill a room, while small enough to transport to a gig or a session in a sports car. For larger gigs, there's more than enough bass thrown your way for this cab to be your stage monitor while DI'ing your amp head to front of house. The two Speakon connectors on the back enable series connection to another cab. This little cab just wins!!
