This was perfect for me as I began to learn how to mix. It has all the basic filters and feathered but it’s a great price as an XDJ product. It comes with the rekordbox software which was great because I definitely didn’t want to spend more on the software itself. You do not need to use a laptop with this controller as it has the USB slots that you can insert. You will use the software to sync your music into the USB, however organized you would like it. I love it, it was a great price and had everything I needed to use as a bar controller as well to connect speakers and everything.

This all in one controller is a great system at a pretty good price to get you into the rekordbox system. First let me say I have been djing 27 years. Thats a long time. I started on turntables then stayed on turntables until I got a computer based controller. Cdjs seemed like the way to go but this all in one controller seemed to have everything I need. Sure the other controllers have more bells and whistles but this controller has a few that you can use and we all know fewer brings more creativity. For just over one thousand dollars you get a complete set up, all you have to do is connect it to speakers. For someone who has been djing a long time, this unit does everything I need it to do. Always remember never get locked down into one thing, always be changing.
