Purchased this about a month ago and man, this thing is a beast! Has all the dings and whistles you could ask for. Feels just like a club setup. My only real complaint is the crossfader, it has no standalone function. Sometimes I like to mix vinyl without using the computer but cannot set the crossfader curve and such without it plugged into Rekordbox. Other than that I highly reccomend this product for someone looking for a club type setup without breaking the bank.

I've had the DDJ-1000 for a few months and finally put it to the test New Years Eve at the Hotel Indigo in downtown El Paso......It performed like a champ!!!!! I ran it for over 5 hours with no problems. Ease of the controls, music switching, etc....Plus the effects were right and tight!!!! I have no regrets getting it and for the price, It is a steal!!!!!

I've used a good handful of controllers - this one has more buttons and flashy light knobbys than any other controller. And it has more options then your CDJs for a jillion times less $$$. Super stoked on it. Played it out a few times and runs like a beast. Rekordbox is like 90% there, but still better than Serato IMO.

I ordered the DDJ-1000 a few months ago and sent it back ONLY because I was so used to using Serato DJ all of the time and then shortly after sending it back I had realized that I had made a big mistake. I used to think that the NS7 was the best controller but that's only because of the spinning platters. The DDJ-100 is packed with features and I love the size of the Jog Wheels and that it's so light in weight. After some time of thinking about it, I have made up my mind to re-purchase the DDJ-1000 and get used to the Rekordbox Software.

This controller is LIFE CHANGING!!! I've been spinning for over 38 years and have been a die hard VDJ user for over 10 years. I was smitten from day one by the DDJ 1000. The way it meshes with Rekordbox is incredible. Everything is on point. The soundcard will blow u away!!! This is truly one controller that is designed and built to SHUT ISH DOWN!!! KUDOS PIONEER DJ!!!
