After a long deliberation much thought was given on the facts, what Mixer would give me the flexibility , features and quality I need to perform the task and remain productive; which brand will live up to it's part of the deal. For the price. and at what cost do I sacrifice. I will admit hands down their are others but they lacked flexibility and competitive price point which in the end is't the most important fact but is the most determining truth when your on a budget or simply have no budget and are grateful that their is affordable option with zzounds.com. If this board offered optical in and outs it could easily become a standard tool in any serious like minded individuals studio. As it stands it fits perfectly.

First off kudos to zzounds for guiding me to the right product for me.
This is an early review as I've only had it a few days but I've ad a chance to put it through it's paces and I've got to say this is a tremendous unit. I had to return a Presonus 16.0.2 and I'm glad I did. This unit has not only more channels and features but the sound quality is outstanding.
Very user friendly but robust at the same time. I really like the workflow on this unit. I was up and going in minutes from taking it out of the box. The manual could be better, but if you have a modicum of understanding when it comes to Pro Audio mixers you will be fine. I honestly was very skeptical about this unit because of all the features vs. the pricepoint. I mean you get wayyyy more than what you pay for on this unit. I was scared that half the feautures would be buggy or laggy or require hours of painstaking trials to get it to work but as I said I had this thing working in minutes out of the box and I have no experience with the Phonic Brand. I havent had to use their support yet so I gave that 3 stars.
So far the early returns are all positive except for the manual.
