I have used this mixer for a while now. It serves all of my needs. I make a subgroup for drums. I mic acoustic instruments, do DI's for plug ins, mic guitar amps, vocals for individuals up to choirs. The preamps are really clean and quiet. The effects are versatile and easy to dial in. I have used the insert on the kick and snare channel for gates and compression. I have recorded from the usb out to a laptop. We often run 4 monitor mixes with the aux outs. It is a workhorse. I depend on it and it has never let me down.
