I looked at a lot of this type of snare, and just felt the pearl was by far the best deal, plus they've been making the 'firecracker' series for a long time!
Sound
Great\side snare, unbelievable pop and crack, and due to the small size it fits anywhere really easy. And the price is a great, a true value, you wont be disappointing yourself with this purchase!
Features
Not a massive tuning range, but you aren't buying this for a 'fat' primary snare. so it's not a problem!
Ease of Use
Works just like it should, I did change heads, but just because I use EVANS ONLY!

Just look at the price, and it sounds more expensive than it is! GREAT VALUE !!!!!
