Title says most of it right there! It's lightweight but still pretty sturdy since it's double-braced. The padding isn't super-thick, but it's soft enough to not hurt and solid enough to be supportive. I loosened up the wingnut that holds the seat in place, and oiled the edges so it'll rotate (my fiancee prefers to play with the seat able to spin around ;) ). No fancy bicycle seats, backrests, pneumatic height adjustment, or any of the other things that might lead a serious drummer to pay more, but if you're not touring, this should do nicely. I'd buy it again.
